Dr Alan Tong is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and is a Visiting Medical Officer at Norwest Private, Blacktown, Strathfield Private, Westmead Public and Private Hospitals.He has consulting rooms in Blacktown, Strathfield and Westmead. He speaks Cantonese and Mandarin, and is able to arrange interpreter service for other languages during consultation.
Dr Tong graduated from the University of Sydney and completed his specialist training at Westmead Hospital and Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in Scotland.
He has a special interest in High Risk Obstetrics, Infertility (affiliated with the Westmead Fertility Centre), Laparoscopic Surgery and Urogynaecology.
Alan is committed to teach and supervise junior colleagues. He is appointed as a Training Supervisor for Registrars and Residents for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist. He is also an Implanon Trainer and FONT (Fetal Welfare, Obstetric Emergency, Neonatal Resuscitation Training) Trainer for the NSW Department of Health.
