Dr Alan Tong is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and is a Visiting Medical Officer at Norwest Private, Blacktown, Strathfield Private, Westmead Public and Private Hospitals.He has consulting rooms in Strathfield and Westmead. He speaks Cantonese and Mandarin, and is able to arrange interpreter service for other languages during consultation.
Dr Tong graduated from the University of Sydney and completed his specialist training at Westmead Hospital and Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in Scotland.
He has a special interest in Infertility (affiliated with Westmead Fertility Centre and IVF Australia), Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery and Urogynaecology.
Alan is committed to teaching and supervising junior colleagues. He is appointed as a Training Supervisor and Examiner for Registrars and Residents at the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists; and Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney. He is also an Implanon Trainer and FONT (Fetal Welfare, Obstetric Emergency, Neonatal Resuscitation Training) Trainer for the NSW Department of Health.
