Dr Tong understands women's needs and is able to deliver a high quality women's health care with professional manner.
He has a special interest in Infertility, Advanced Laparoscopic (keyhole) Surgery and Urogynaecology (Incontinence and Prolapse problems) in addition to general Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Dr Tong obtained a broad range of clinical experiences and surgical skills when he was trained in centres such as Westmead Hospital (One of the biggest Tertiary Centres and Teaching Hospitals in NSW) and Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in Scotland (3rd biggest Maternity Unit in UK).
He is also committed in training medical students (The University of Sydney and The University of Western Sydney), residents, GP trainees, and registrars. His commitment of teaching, training, and supervising his junior colleagues confirms a two consecutive years of 100% pass rate for candidates preparing for the specialist examination. He is appointed as the Examiner for Registrars and Residents at the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and the Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney.
Dr Tong is a highly organized Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and also a father of three children. He understands the importance of a balance between his family and his career.
